Take your studies a step beyond the ordinary by spending an entire quarter or the summer participating in the UC Davis Academic Internship Program in Washington, D.C. The Washington Program allows students in all academic disciplines to combine their academic interests with challenging internships at a wide variety of organizations in our nation's capital.
Spend an entire academic quarter or the summer living and working in Washington, D.C., experiencing all the city has to offer.
You'll live in university-sponsored housing with students from nine other UC campuses. While there, you will participate in an internship at one of the many great organizations in the nation's capital, a research seminar and a four-unit upper-division elective course. While in D.C., you will pay the same amount of tuition as students who stay in Davis and your financial aid status will remain the same. If you go during the school year, you will also earn 15 units of academic credit.
