Prospective Freshmen: UC Eligibility and UC Davis Admission Criteria
To ensure that our students are ready to succeed at UC Davis, we require specific academic preparation. But first, applicants should meet UC eligibility requirements. If you're not a California resident, you must meet additional non-resident eligibility requirements. Keep in mind that achieving UC eligibility guarantees your admission at a UC campus, but it does not guarantee that you will be admitted to UC Davis or other selective campuses.
Next, we thoroughly review all applications and score them based on UC Davis-specific admission criteria as part of our Comprehensive Review process. You can view the exam scores and GPA of our admitted students, who generally exceeded UC eligibility criteria.
