Current and Prospective Applicants

• Join our UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions Facebook group and MySpace page. Learn more about our campus from students and alumni.
• Subscribe to UC Davis e-news. Find out about upcoming admissions deadlines and campus events.
• Schedule a campus tour.
• April 17, 2010: Attend UC Davis Picnic Day.
• Attend UC Davis spring cultural events occurring April through May.

August

• Begin fall classes at your community college.
• Meet with a counselor to discuss transfer options and requirements .

September-October

• Fall Transfer Admission Guarantees (TAGs) are forwarded to UC Davis in September for approval .
• October 17, 2009: Attend Preview Day at UC Davis

November

• November 1-30, 2009: Complete and submit the online UC undergraduate application for admission and scholarships. If you are applying for a scholarship, make certain to check the release authorization box to allow release of your transcripts to the scholarship office.

December

• Check your UC application status at www.ucapplication.net/ucap.
• Establish a UC Davis MyAdmissions account and check it frequently for admission notices.

January-February

• Check UC Davis application status at MyAdmissions.
• Apply for financial aid between January 1 and March 1 at FAFSA (UC Davis School Code is 001313). Funds are disbursed on a first-come, first-served basis.
• Submit your GPA verification form for Cal Grants.
• Begin looking for housing in Davis.
• Complete the UC Application Update by January 31, but no later than February 15, to notify the UC system of any changes in academic courses or performance.
• Receive your Student Aid Report (SAR) confirming receipt of FAFSA.
• Familiarize yourself with UC Davis transfer services.

March-June 1

• Check UC Davis admission status at MyAdmissions starting March 15. If admitted, submit online Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) by June 1 deadline.
