Academic History

  • Read and follow the instructions for reporting your educational history.
  • Please list the appropriate title or acronym for any degree, diploma or certificate you will have completed before admission to UC Davis and the date received in the section “Diploma/Degree/Certificate.”
  • If you have begun a Diplome d’Etudes Universitaires Generales (DEUG) but will NOT be completing it before you enter UC Davis, please indicate this in your application. You may simply enter “DEUG – no completion” in the “Diploma/Degree/Certificate” section. We may need to contact you for more information about your DEUG program. Make sure to open any mail or e-mail that comes from UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions to see if we have requested this information.

Transfer Self-Reported Academic Record

  • Read and follow the instructions for reporting your academic records.
  • Please report all subjects and grades as they appear on your Releve de Notes.
  • For each subject, enter your coefficients in the “Units” section and your numerical grades in the “Grade” section. If your school has a grading scale other than 1-20, please include a grade scale explanation in your Personal Statement.
  • If your school has adopted the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), we will want to know your coefficients and ECTS credits for each subject. Please follow the instructions for reporting ECTS credit.

Academic Records

We may need to review your diploma program structure, individual course descriptions, releve de notes, and certificates before we are able to make an admission decision. You are therefore strongly encouraged to have photocopies on hand to submit at our request. Make sure to open any mail or e-mail that comes from UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions to see if we have requested these documents.
