- Please list any final or intermediate degree or diploma you will have completed
before admission to UC Davis with the date received in the column "Diploma/Degree/Certificate
and Date."
- If you are enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, please indicate this in your educational history even if you will not be completing it. You may enter "Bachelor - no completion."
- If you are enrolled in a Diplom/Diplom FH or Magister program, please indicate if you will have your Diplom-Vorpruefung, Vordiplom or Zwischenpruefung, or any other intermediate examinations completed before admission to UC Davis.
Transfer Self-Reported Academic Record
- Read and follow the instructions for reporting your academic records.
- If you are completing a Bachelor's degree program, please list your subjects
and grades exactly as they would appear on you academic record. If
your school has adopted the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS),
then please follow the instructions for reporting ECTS credit.
- If you are in a Diplom/Diplom FH or Magister program, then please follow these instructions.
- If you have not yet completed your Diplom-Vorpruefung, Vordiplom or Zwischenpruefung or any other intermediate examinations, please report all subjects and grades as they appear on your academic certificates (scheine, bescheinigung or leistungnachweis). Indicate if each subject is a Vorleslung, Ubung, Praktikum, Seminar or Exkursion course.
- We are aware that some subjects may not be graded on your academic
certificates. For subjects in which you did not receive a grade,
enter a “P” grade for “Pass.” Otherwise, report
grades that exist on your academic certificates.
- We are aware that you may not receive
certificates for some of the subjects you have completed. Unfortunately,
without any documentation we will not be able
to consider these subjects. Please do not list these courses in the Transfer
Self-Reported Academic Record Section. However, tell us that you attended
these courses and did not receive documentation in your Personal Statement.
- If you plan to sit for your intermediate examinations
before admission to UC Davis, please list your planned examinations. Indicate
that each subject will be an examination subject by writing Diplom-Vorpruefung,
Vordiplom or Zwischenpruefung next to each subject. For example you
may write “Math – Vordiplom.”
- If you have already completed your Diplom-Vorpruefung, Vordiplom or Zwischenpruefung or any other intermediate examinations, please list these scores as they appear on your certificate.
- There is no need to list subjects and grades documented with scheine, bescheinigung or leistungnachweis prior to your intermediate examinations.
- However, if you will have more subjects completed after your intermediate examinations listed on scheine, bescheinigung or leistungnachweis, then follow the rules above for reporting this coursework.
Academic Records
We will probably need to review your degree program structure, individual course descriptions, scheine, bescheinigung or leistungnachweis and other certificates before we are able to make an admission decision. Therefore, you are strongly encouraged to have photocopies on hand to submit at our request. Make sure to open any mail or e-mail that comes from UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions to see if we have requested these documents.
