Applicant Level
If you will complete a university degree in India before admission to
UC Davis, please follow these instructions.
- If you will complete a 3-year bachelor’s degree program,
then you should NOT apply as a second baccalaureate.
- If you will
complete a 3-year bachelor’s degree and at least a year
of a Master’s degree program, then you should apply as a second
baccalaureate.
- If you will complete a 4-year bachelor’s degree
program, then you should apply as a second baccalaureate.
Academic History
- Read and follow the instructions for reporting your educational
history.
- If you attended a college, please list the full name of
the college and the university it is affiliated with. If you
do not have enough
space to enter both names, enter what you can and then report
the full names in your Personal Statement.
Transfer Self-Reported Academic Record
- Read and follow the instructions for reporting your academic
records.
- List your subjects as they are listed on your mark sheets.
Select the “semester” term type. We know that your marks
are issued annually, not per semester or quarter.
- Report your official subjects and grades for each year in
the term in which you took your annual examinations (usually Spring).
- Next to each subject, report your attained marks and
maximum marks in the “grade” column. For example you
may enter “95/150.”
If you cannot fit this information into the grade field, please
report just your attained marks. Then tell us your attained and
maximum marks in the Personal Statement.
- Usually, mark sheets do not list
units or credits. Therefore, you may leave the “Units” column
blank or enter “0.”
Academic Records
We may need to review some of your course syllabi or mark sheets before
we are able to make an admission decision. Therefore, you are strongly
encouraged to have photocopies on hand to submit at our request. Make
sure to open any mail or e-mail that comes from UC Davis Undergraduate
Admissions to see if we have requested your syllabi
or mark sheets.
