Majors in the College of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences with pre-majors and additional transfer requirements include: You may use ASSIST to search for courses at your current college that are equivalent to UC Davis courses. You must complete all required courses if they are offered at your current college. If they are not offered at your college, you must complete them after enrolling at UC Davis. BiotechnologyYou must earn an overall transfer GPA of 2.80 or higher to be a competitive candidate for admission. Courses must be taken for a letter grade and you must earn a GPA of at least 2.50 for each of the following course groups, with no grade less than "C":
You are strongly encouraged to complete courses equivalent to the following UC Davis courses, earning a minimum GPA of 2.50: Organic Chemistry 8A/B or Chemistry 118A/B/C.  TOP Landscape ArchitectureTo major in landscape architecture, you must select "Pre-Landscape Architecture" on your UC application. Admission to UC Davis does not guarantee admission to the landscape architecture major. A separate portfolio application must be submitted directly to the landscape architecture program. If you are applying for a fall term, you may submit your portfolio in February, either before or after enrollment. Visit lda.ucdavis.edu or contact the Landscape Architecture Advising Office at (530) 754-8628 for details about portfolio submission. TOP Managerial EconomicsTo major in managerial economics, you must select "Pre-Managerial Economics" on your UC application. Admission to Pre-Managerial Economics does not guarantee admission to the managerial economics major. You must earn an overall transfer GPA of 2.80 or higher to be a competitive candidate for admission. Completion of and performance in the prerequisite courses are critical in determining acceptance to the managerial economics major following admission to UC Davis. After completing your first quarter at UC Davis, you may petition the department for admission to the major. You must receive a letter grade in each course, and only the first repeat of any pre-major course will be considered in your petition review. You must earn a GPA of at least 2.80 for the following group of courses, with no grade less than "C" to competitively petition the department for admission to the major.
TOP Viticulture and EnologyYou must earn an overall transfer GPA of 2.80 or higher to be a competitive candidate for admission. Courses must be taken for a letter grade and you must earn a GPA of at least 3.00 for the following course group, with no grade less than "C."
