- ABOUT US
The UC application for fall 2014 is currently closed. Applicants for fall 2015 may start working on the UC application as early as October 1. The application filing period for fall 2015 admission to UC Davis opens November 1 and closes at midnight on November 30, 2014.
UC Davis does not accept applications for winter or spring quarters, though you may apply to other open UC campuses.
The online application is available during regular application filing periods. Helpful prompts assist you in completing your application thoroughly and accurately, and the UC offers downloadable quick-start guides for both freshman and transfers to help you prepare.

The domestic filing fee for each University of California campus you apply to is $70. For international applicants, the filing fee is $80 per campus.
Fee waivers are available to students who meet strict eligibility guidelines based on household size and family income. When you apply online, you can fill out the fee waiver form included with the online application. If, after review by UC staff, you are not eligible for a fee waiver, you will be billed for all application fees.
When you apply for admission, you are also applying for scholarships. Be sure to read all instructions pertaining to scholarships when completing the application, paying particular attention to the restricted scholarship eligibility codes.
If you wish to be considered for need-based scholarships, you must apply for financial aid. For more information, please visit our financial aid page.
Not every freshman applicant fits into the typical mold: a student at a public or large private school who took four full years to graduate, and not every transfer student fits the typical profile of a California community college student applying to a bachelor’s degree program in the fall quarter. See how our admission policies affect freshmen and transfer students with special educational circumstances.
Filing deadlines are rarely extended. Check for the most current information on extended or special filing deadlines. To apply for admission after a filing period has ended or to a closed term, you must submit a written appeal. No faxed or emailed appeals will be considered, no in-person or phone interviews will be granted and appeal documentation will not be returned. Consideration of appeals is based on your overall academic record and extenuating circumstances.
Appeal submissions must include:
