After You've Applied

Congratulations on submitting your college applications!

After you submit your application online, you should receive an email from UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions confirming that your application has been successfully filed. This may take a few weeks, so please be patient. We will send this message and all future email communications regarding your admission status to the address that you listed on your application. While you wait for your admission decision, read the following steps to learn more about your next steps.

Freshmen Applicants

  • Check the Freshman Timeline for a list of dates for submitting your financial aid application, admission notification information and the deadline for submitting your Statement of Intent to Register (SIR) should you be accepted to UC Davis.
  • Check your admission status at MyAdmissions in mid-March to see if you've been admitted to UC Davis.
  • Check your email address listed on your UC application and add us to your address book to avoid having important information sent to your junk folders. Applicants will be notified by email, and you don't want to miss important notices regarding your application and admission status.
  • If you are admitted, learn the next steps for accepting our offer of admission, reporting changes to your academic record and submitting your official transcripts and test scores.
  • If your admission was denied, learn why and explore your options for entering UC Davis in the future.

Transfer Applicants
