Get the latest copy of your Preview Day agenda and other resource materials from the check-in tables near Freeborn Hall. We encourage you to sign up for campus tours after checking in. Tickets for lunch in the dining commons can also be purchased at the start of your day. |
8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Campus Walking Tours |
Pick up your free tour tickets in the Freeborn Hall courtyard before our program begins! Tours depart every hour on the hour, and last approximately 45 minutes. The last tour of the day will depart at 2:00 p.m. Early birds can start their day with a leisurely walking tour of campus at 8:00 a.m., in the cool of the morning. |

Begin your day with a formal welcome and overview of the activities we have planned for you. |
9:20–9:50 a.m. Admission Information Sessions |
Unsure about UC admission requirements? Get the latest information on our admission criteria, selection process, testing requirements and much more! High school students can also find out about preparing for transitioning from high school to UC Davis by way of community college. Separate information sessions will be held for high school students and community college students.

11:00–11:30 a.m. Introducing the University |
What's the difference between UC Davis' four colleges and how does that affect your choice of major? Get an overview of UC Davis that will help you select the major that best fits your major interest, and discover the benefits of studying at a major research university. |
11:30 a.m.–1:15 p.m. Lunch |
Before or after visiting our Majors and Activities Fair, grab lunch with our current students in any of our residence hall dining rooms. Purchase tickets near the campus tour table earlier in the day to avoid the lines! Alternatively, explore other student dining options in the Coffee House, Gunrock Pub or Silo Union. |
11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Majors and Activities Fair |
Head to the Pavilion at the ARC and chat one-on-one with program representatives from more than 100 undergraduate majors. Learn about the many student services and activities available on campus. And don't forget to visit the "Ask an Aggie" table to talk with current students about college life at UC Davis. |
Noon–3:30 p.m. Residence Hall Tours |
Residence hall tours in the Segundo, Tercero and Cuarto areas are offered on a rolling basis during Preview Day. Our residence halls are located close to shopping centers, classes and recreational facilities. Be sure to check out the Student Housing website! |
1:15–1:45 p.m. and 2:00–2:30 p.m. Financial Aid Presentation |
Learn about the financial aid process at UC Davis, including types of aid available, eligibility and deadlines. Choose from one of two presentation times. Our Financial Aid Office will provide you with the critical information you need to meet your college financial needs.
