Get the latest copy of your Preview Day agenda and information from the check-in tables near Freeborn Hall. We encourage you to sign up for campus tours immediately after checking in. Tickets for lunch in the dining commons can also be purchased at the start of your day. |
8:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. Campus Walking Tours |
Pick up your free tour tickets in the Memorial Union Plaza before our program begins! Tours depart every hour on the hour, and last approximately 45 minutes. The last tour of the day will depart at 2:00 p.m. Early birds can start their day with a leisurely walking tour of campus at 8:00 a.m., in the cool of the morning. |

Begin your day with a formal welcome and overview of the activities we have planned for you. |
9:20–9:50 a.m. Admission Information Sessions |
Get the latest information on our admission and testing requirements and learn about our selection process. High school students can also find out how they can plan for a UC Davis degree by way of community college. Separate information sessions will be held for high school and community college students.

Hear from current UC Davis students who will answer your questions and share their insights into the UC Davis undergraduate experience.

11:00–11:30 a.m. University Overview |
What's the difference between UC Davis' four colleges and how does that affect your choice of major? Get an overview of UC Davis that will help you select the major that best fits your interests, and discover the benefits of studying at a major research university. |
11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. Lunch |
Before or after visiting our Majors and Activities Fair, grab lunch with our current students in any of our residence hall dining rooms. Purchase tickets near the campus tour table earlier in the day to avoid the lines! If you would prefer to grab a quick bite instead of a sit-down meal, explore Saturday dining options in the Coffee House. |
11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Majors and Activities Fair |
Head to the Pavilion at the ARC and chat one-on-one with program representatives from more than 100 undergraduate majors. Visit the upper deck to learn about the many student services and activities available on campus. And don't forget to visit the "Ask an Aggie" table to talk with current students about college life at UC Davis. |
11:30 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Engineering Majors Fair |
If engineering is your interest, we invite you to check out the Engineering Majors Fair in Kemper Hall and take a tour of our world-class facilities. Enginering students, faculty and staff will be available to answer your questions about our programs and student organizations. |
8:00 a.m.–2:30 p.m. Residence Hall Tours |
Residence hall tours in the Tercero area are offered on a rolling basis during Preview Day. All of our residence halls are located close to shopping centers, classes and recreational facilities. Be sure to check out the Student Housing website! |
12:45–1:15 p.m. and 1:30–2:00 p.m. Financial Aid Presentations |
Learn about the financial aid process at UC Davis, including types of aid available, eligibility and deadlines. Choose from one of two presentation times. Our Financial Aid Office will provide you with the critical information you need to meet your college financial needs.
