Browser Requirements

Minimum Web Browser Requirements

The Web pages and Web-based applications hosted by UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions require a minimum Web browser of Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 or higher, Netscape 7.2 or higher, Mozilla Firefox 1.5 or higher, Apple Safari 2.0 or higher or any other Web browser compatible with these browsers. Internet Explorer for Mac OS is not supported.

If you are not sure of the version of your browser, select "Help" in the menu bar of your browser and choose "About".

PC Users

If you need to upgrade your Web browser software, follow one of the links listed below:

• Mozilla Firefox
• Microsoft Internet Exploder

Macintosh Users

Compatible Web browsers include Firefox and Apple Safari.

Additional Information

Some Web pages and Web-based applications hosted by UC Davis Undergraduate Admissions require the Web browser to support Javascript and to accept session-based cookies. By default, the major Web browsers are configured to handle this requirement.
